Our poultry scratch is a 4 grain blend with added grit. Designed as a supplement rather than a complete feed- feed in addition to a complete diet in amounts up to 10% of total consumption. Scratch carries higher energy than complete feeds and is especially beneficial in cold periods or winter season when there is reduced forage for scratching. Feeding too much scratch discourages flocks from consuming enough of a complete diet which leaves them deficient and lowers production.
